I learnt something today from Pastor Keith's message.
That we should not be passive, by waiting for God to do something, but rather trusting in God and actively seeking. I do want to actively seek and trust God for things and through situations he is puting me through. Not have a perspective to passively wait for things to come my way. I want to grab hold of opportunities, then life becomes more exciting and eventful. That seeks to challenge and push me to grow. Then difficulties will become challenges and my take on situations will not be so inward-looking but rather outward looking. I think my perspective in life so slowly but steadily changing. And it's good. I like it. I'm being influenced by the people and things around me. To have an internal locus of control in my life. (What I learnt from Organizational Behavior and Design)
Let me quote from the Back to Basics Crusade book: "Do not pray for easy lives; pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers; pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be a miracle."
I think it's the battle in the mind for me. It always has been.
I'm MCing for this thursdays' cross roads. MCing! my first time. I am excited. Hopefully my other MCer (Gabriel) and I will be able to click. and things will go well. I'm sure it will. Hopefully, I'm still in this excitable mood now. Ready for action and zeal. Just like the time I went out with Sam and our siblings=) On to do almost anything.
